CoEPC provides a list of companies and individual providers such as; eldercare services, caregiver resources, transportation services, long-term care facilities and information about Medicare, Medicaid, Aging Services, and a Veterans Benefits called the Aid & Attendance Pension Benefit.
DRCOG Network of Care
The Denver Regional Council of Government (DRCOG) Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Network of Care provides a wide variety of comprehensive resources and assistance for caregivers, older adults and people with disabilities living in the Denver metro area. Mile High United Way’s 2-1-1 is a free and confidential community referral service that connects callers with resources that provide caregiver resources, transportation assistance, senior issues, basic needs and other types of assistance. Trained referral specialists are multi-lingual and available to help individuals with resources. Aging Life Care Association, formerly known as the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers
Aging life care, also known as geriatric case management, is a holistic, client-centered approach to care for older adults or others facing health challenges. The Association provides information for caregivers and families of older adults. Services include; assessment and monitoring, planning and problem-solving, education and advocacy and family caregiver coaching.
Caregiver Media Group provides information, support and guidance for family and caregivers. They produce Today’s Caregiver magazine and their website includes topic specific newsletters, online discussion lists, back issues of their magazine, chat rooms, and an online store filled with products developed for, about and by caregivers.
