Training materials on the New Power of Attorney Law

Colorado's New Uniform Power of Attorney Act

The new Uniform Power of Attorney Act governs financial powers of attorney.  This training will have representatives from the courts, law enforcement and other state and county agencies who will share information about how this new law will affect seniors and their families.  This law provides greater protections for the person granting the authority and also provides greater guidance to the person designated by the principal to act on his or her behalf.   Colorado's Uniform Power of Attorney Law takes effect January 1, 2010.  Continuing Legal Education (CLE's) credits will be provided.

Register by calling 1-800-773-1366 or emailing:  ccerap@comcast.net
