Intimate Partner Abuse in Later Life

Intimate partner abuse is a significant portion of elder abuse cases.  This training will cover the unique challenges confronted by older victims of domestic violence, the prevalence of domestic violence among older adults, signs of sexual abuse, why women (or men) stay in relationships, how to break the cycle of violence, creating a safety plan and how to find help.

Continuing education: 2 CLE’s & POST units (applied for) 2 hours recertification for ombudsman training.
All CCERAP trainings and materials are FREE.

(no refreshments are allowed in the City Council Chambers)

I-225 to Alameda Ave.
East on Alameda about 1/2 mile to Chambers Rd.
Left on Chambers Road 1 block
Left into City Hall parking lot
Parking garage is available on west side or park in lot on east side
