The National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (NCPEA) is an association of researchers, practitioners, educators, and advocates dedicated to protecting the safety, security, and dignity of America's most vulnerable citizens. The Committee is one of six partners that make up the National Center on Elder Abuse, which is funded by Congress to serve as the nation's clearinghouse on information and materials on abuse and neglect. The mission of NCPEA is to prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older persons and adults with disabilities through research, advocacy, public and professional awareness, interdisciplinary exchange, and coalition building.

Oversees National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life including administrative functions; liaison for national elder abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault and aging networks; oversees and provides national technical assistance, training, program development and support regarding abuse in later life, coordinates Advisory Committee. There are also two NCALL TA Specialists who are available to provide assistance and training.
Provides training, technical assistance and consultation on domestic abuse in later life to professionals and interested parties throughout the country; lead staff person for many NCALL projects; creates interactive training exercises and writes manuals, booklets and journal articles on issues related to abuse in later life.
Provides technical assistance, training, program development and support to professionals who work in the area of abuse of people with disabilities (developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory disabilities, mental illness) for Wisconsin domestic violence programs; liaison regarding Wisconsin adult protective services, elder abuse and aging and physical accessibility issues and systems.
